“Yes. There are stories of the old ones as old as the wolf legends, and some much more recent. According to legend, my great-grandfather knew some of them. He was the one who made the treaty that kept them off our land.” He rolled his eyes.

We've all had those moments - those moments when you're reading the book, or any book for that matter, and you wonder what if .. insert your chosen scenario here. This game tackles many of these questions, as changing one detail in a series can have multiple effects on many of our beloved characters. The small detail changed in this plot? Well, what if the Cullen's had not entered the town of Forks all those years ago, but instead their first visit would be in the summer before final year for Isabella Swan and co. No strange occurrences, no werewolf transformations – what if it was all scary stories swapped between friends on a cold evening in La Push? Of course, the stories would indeed become a reality in due time, testing friendships and loves already made to the extreme.
With tempers flaring and no truce yet formed between werewolves and vampires, the confrontations over old friends and new will soon fall on the unsuspecting town. The werewolves will not be as eager to form a truce with cold ones as Jacob’s great-grandfather would have been, what with passions running high between select individuals. With the Cullen's having no intention of leaving Forks, and the werewolves wanting nothing more than to see them gone, it is certain that a conflict is on the horizon.

Sunnydale, California, sits atop the mouth of Hell.
Lately, it has become swamped with more than the usual mess of vampires, werewolves, and demons. It's been a very slay-heavy year for Buffy Summers--and Faith Lehane.
But the Slayers aren't the only ones with problems.
The sudden influx of supernatural beings in Sunnydale has caused quite a stir, effecting creatures all around the globe. The Hellmouth's power to attract beings of a non-natural nature has always been strong, but never so strong as to effect so many. Different species of vampires, demons, fae, and all manner of supernatural creatures are feeling the pull--including werewolves and "vegetarian" vampires from the little rainy town of Forks, Washington.
They can't help but come to the little California town.
The Vampire Council, seated in France, has thrown down a gauntlet, complicating matters by sending an emissary to extract Angel's soul. A higher demon has thrown things entirely out of whack. Anita Blake, renowned (and feared) vampire hunter, members of the Talamasca and members of The Watcher's Council are all working to find out more. Wolfram & Hart has representatives skulking in corners...some are even audacious enough to chat up new-arrival vampires.
The reasons for the Hellmouth's energy boost are as yet unknown, but what is known is this: either the mortals and immortals find a way to create a balance, or they'll destroy one another in the process.

Movie News!
I'm not sure if you have seen this, but Twilight the movie now has a director and a writer!
Melissa Rosenburg, the writer, also wrote "Step Up." I enjoyed it, so I'm fine with that.
Catherine Hardwicke, the director, also directed "Thirteen" and "Lords of Dogtown." While I thought Thirteen was depressing and over-the-top, I ADORED Lords of Dogtown.

Welcome to Facets of Blood--where there is, in fact, plenty of blood--though blood isn't the only thing spilt.
Sunnydale, California, home to a fairly large Hellmouth* has become swamped with more than the usual mess of vampires and demons--there's a new werecreature population that only adds to the local Slayers' quota.
The Slayers aren't the only ones with problems. The sudden influx of supernatural beings in Sunnydale has caused quite a stir, effecting creatures all around the globe. The Hellmouth's power to attract beings of a non-natural nature has always been strong, but never so strong as to effect so many. Different species of vampires, demons, fae, and all manner of supernatural baddies are feeling the pull.
Bad guys of all types are back in town--some are even back from the dead. The Vampire Council, seated in France, has thrown down a gauntlet, complicating matters by sending an emissary to extract Angel's soul. Anita Blake, renowned (and feared) Vampire Hunter, Buffy Summers, members of the Talamasca and members of The Watcher's Council are all working to find out more. Wolfram & Hart has representatives skulking in corners...some are even audacious enough to chat up new-arrival vampires.

This game takes place around Season 5 of BTVS, Season 2 of Angel. We’re lenient with what part of those seasons. Hell, we’re lenient all around.
